Teaching and Facilitation

I am an experienced university lecturer and have developed and delivered engaging, practice-orientated, and research-led courses in law, including international children’s rights, international human rights law, and international criminal law.

Beyond academia, I provide training and mentoring to lawyers, human rights defenders, and others in civil society.  This includes training on substantive human rights law as well as strategic advocacy before UN treaty bodies and drafting effective advocacy interventions.

My approach is hands-on and collaborative – my aim is to empower participants through practical experience rather than didactic instruction, enabling them to enhance their skills and knowledge for direct application in their work.

I offer tailored training programmes, workshops, and one-on-one mentoring designed to support individuals and organisations in advancing their human rights goals more effectively.
